The 9^th FATO International Congress which will be held in Kinshasa in DRC from November 17 to 22, 2024. The congress will be held at PULLMAN HOTEL Kinshasa (DRC).

Through the organization of its congresses, FATO is intended to stimulate, promote a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation. The International Congress of FATO is an event that is a place for exchange and discussion between rehabilitation professionals to improve quality of services and to find lasting solutions to barriers that face people with disabilities to access services. FATO Congresses also aims at strengthening the unifying role of the FATO in order to consolidate rehabilitation sector in Africa

FATO congresses are attended by rehabilitation professionals coming from all over Africa including ortho-prosthetists, physical therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, rehabilitation physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, etc. In addition, the congresses are also attended by decision makers who come to be informed about the trends within the rehabilitation sector, about the challenges faced by the sector and potential solutions to overcome these challenges. At the last FATO International Congress held in Lomé (Togo), around 300 participants attended the congress:

500 participants are expected to attend the 9^th FATO International Congress which will be held in Kinshasa (DRC).

Integrated with the interdisciplinary congress, the exhibition provides an opportunity for the participants to get information on the latest product innovations and for the exhibitors an opportunity to get in touch with existing clients and with potential new ones.

Confirmation of registration

• Online registration: After registering online, an acknowledgment of receipt including all the details of your registration will be immediately emailed to you. Within the two weeks after receipt of payment of registration fees an official confirmation will be sent by email.

About two weeks before the congress, participants will receive an email containing all important information about the Congress.

Deadline and payment terms

Registrations are confirmed only after the confirmation of the full payment of the registration. The full payment must be received before August 30 2023 in order to benefit from the discount « Early Bird Registration ».

• Bank transfer: Payments by bank transfer are accepted. All payments must be made to the bank account, details of which are provided The amount to be paid is the one indicated on the invoice sent by email (after registration). Bank transfers must clearly indicate the participant’s name and invoice number. All bank charges are at the participant’s expense.
